McLaren
Back-to-back Constructors' Champions (2024-2025) and ten-time champions in history. McLaren, based in Woking, is one of the most legendary brands in Formula 1, powered by Mercedes engines.
History and Information
McLaren is one of the oldest and most successful teams in Formula 1 history, founded by New Zealand driver Bruce McLaren in 1963. Over more than six decades the team has won ten Constructors' titles and twelve Drivers' titles - with legends like Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Mika Hakkinen and Lewis Hamilton behind the wheel. After a difficult rebuilding period in the 2010s, McLaren returned to the absolute top under Andrea Stella, winning the Constructors' Championship in 2024 and repeating that success in 2025. Lando Norris was crowned Drivers' World Champion in the 2025 season, and together with Oscar Piastri they form one of the strongest pairings on the grid. The Woking-based team uses Mercedes power units and boasts one of the most advanced technology centres in the paddock. For the 2026 season, McLaren is a clear favourite to defend both championship titles.
